Toolbar Buttons

The toolbar is the same at the Top Level and Database Levels, as well as in Hot Dogs and the Boneyard. It changes only in Fetch.

Jump Up
The Jump Up button moves you up, level by level, to the Top Level. If you are in the Big Dogs database, for instance, clicking Jump Up will bring back here, the Top Level.

Or, if you were in a database and went to Fetch (or Hot Dogs or the Boneyard), clicking it takes you back to the database; clicking it again takes you to the Top Level. It works from the databases, Fetch, Hot Dogs and the Boneyard.

Go to URL
The Go to URL button sends a bookmark's link to your browser. It works from any database, Fetch, Hot Dogs and the Boneyard, but only when a bookmark is selected.

Fetch
The Fetch button takes you to JP's internal bookmark search engine where you can find the links that are best for your job search. More info...

Add to Dogs
The Add to Dogs button copies any bookmark from one of JP's databases to Hot Dogs, which is where you can keep your favorites.

Grab a Dog
Use the Grab a Dog button to bookmark the page your browser is currently displaying and add it to your favorites in Hot Dogs. To do this, click on the Grab a Dog button on the toolbar. A popup context menu will appear. Pick Add "Page Title" and a sub-menu will appear.

You can add the bookmark to any existing folder you have already created in Hot Dogs or you can create new folder. To add to an existing folder, pick the folder name on the folder choice sub-menu and click. To create a new folder, pick Create New Folder and click; an entry box will appear where you can name the new folder.

Send Email
Send Email brings up an email composition window so you can send a quick message without opening your email program.

Hot
Get to your Hot Dogs fast by using the Hot mini-button. Hot Dogs is where you can keep the favorite bookmarks for your job search

Bones
The Bones mini-button takes you right to the Boneyard, which is the history of you and JP.
